Demonstration/Instruction/Practice
(5 tickets)

If you brought along clown clothes or accessories, please bring them to this workshop.  You need not wear your costume but weÕll be talking about how to ÒbeÓ a clown, which obviously involves how you dress.  If you did not bring clown items, that is OK.  We will have some accessories there for you to use.

            Popcorn, circus peanuts, clown cheese balls and crackers, beverages

7:15-8:00 PM  Presentation and Activities by Jewls the Clown

SATURDAY MORNING

á      7:30-9:00 AM in DE  Set up Swap ÔnÕ Sell and Participation Displays

This will be the time and location for display of the various creative items you have created as part of your participation efforts at this yearÕs FTF:  circus displays, sculptures, paintings, electronic creations, etc.  Karen and Elizabeth Rutledge will coordinate both the participation displays and the Swap ÔnÕ Sell.  Be sure and see Karen to pick up your participation tickets!  This is not a competitive event.

 

¤       Each participation ÒthingÓ displayed of a very significant nature (displays, sculptures, table decorations, etc.):  50 tickets

¤       Each participation ÒthingÓ displayed of a less time-intensive nature:  15-25 tickets

 

á      7:30-9:00 AM  Coffee and Tea Service

á      8:00-9:00 AM  Saturday Registration in back Hallway, just inside door to DE

á      9:00-10:00 AM in DE  Continental Breakfast

á      9:00-10:30 AM Swap ÔnÕ Sell and Participant Displays

á      10:30 AM Take down Swap ÔnÕ Sell

á      11:15 AM in DE Opening Remarks and Icebreakers

 

SATURDAY AFTERNOON

á      12:30  Circus-Themed Buffet Lunch

á      1:30-5:00 PM  Various Circus Demonstrations/Activities (see below for specifics)

á      1:30 PM -2:30 PM in ABC Magic with Magic Joe—all of us at once!  (We will learn a trick to take home.)

      Participation tickets to be handed out  (5 tickets)

á      2:30 PM -3:30 PM Afternoon Snack—TAMMYÕS CUPCAKES! & snow cones

á      2:45 PM – 3:30 PM in MacGillicuddyÕs  (SESSION 1)  Juggling with Matt and crew – 35 people

            Participation tickets to be handed out (5 tickets)

á      3:45 PM – 4:15 PM in ABC  Balloon Twisting with Magic Joe—everyone

            Participation tickets to be handed out (5 tickets)

á      4:15 PM – 5:00 PM in MacGillicuddyÕs (SESSION 2)  Juggling with Matt and crew – 35 people

            Participation tickets to be handed out (5 tickets)

á      2:45 – 5:00 PM in Back Foyer/Hallway Tricks with hoops with Kiki.  This training workshop will occur sporadically throughout this time period as interested persons join her.  We anticipate that she will teach hooping to about 35 people at 2:45 PM and again at 4:15 PM.

SATURDAY EVENING

á      6:00-7:00 PM in ABC Grande Circus Buffet Dinner

á      7:30 PM in ABC  Circus Parade (Pam Gray)

If you brought a costume (clown or other circus animal or performer, this will be your opportunity to show us your handiwork and earn participation points for your efforts.  Pam Gray will serve as emcee for this parade.

á      8:00 PM in ABC Wee Ring Circus Performances (Donn Fink, Ringmaster)

            Magic Joe Magic Show (Magic Joe Fusco from Saline, Michigan)

Juggler/Poi Demonstration/Breakdance Performance (Matt Peplinski and Crew from Central Michigan UniversityÕs Circus Arts Organization)

            Hula Hoop Performance (KiKi from Central Michigan UniversityÕs Circus

Arts Organization)

            WFF Guest Acts follow (Pam Gray will coordinate entertainment)

 

SUNDAY MORNING

á      8:00 AM-9:00 AM in ABC Coffee and Socializing

á      9:00 AM-10:15 AM in ABC Live Auction (Steve Cristanus, Auctioneer; Mary Mirabelli, Auction Supervisor)

á      10:30 AM in ABC Hotel Doherty Signature Brunch

á      11:00 AM-Noon (or a little later) Raffle Winners, Prize Drawings, Final Remarks
